SECOND OFFICIAL SEA TRIALS NOVEMBER 7 - 11, 2003

QUEEN MARY 2 sailed from Saint Nazaire out into the Atlantic on Friday November 7 for her second sea and speed trials.

One can see that there are many police and medical vehicles on the scene.
During the afternoon a gangway and scaffolding collapsed in a tragic accident
in which 15 persons died and more that 30 persons were injured.
