Queen Mary 2 In New York Harbor - March 17, 2005
The images in this photo essay were photographed by Marc Forster on the occasion of the call by Queen Mary 2 at New York on Thursday March 17, 2005. These photographs were taken between noon and approximately 6:30 PM on that day. The first two images, photographed from the bridge leading to the "Intrepid Museum", are of the liner docked at Berth No. 2 at the New York City Passenger Ship Terminal.
The following photos were taken from the NY Waterway ferry and later from Weehawken, New Jersey.
The final images show Queen Mary 2 sailing at nightfall on one of her Caribbean cruises.
The Port of New York Branch, World Ship Society, wishes to express it's thanks to Marc Forster for these fine photographs
