"Welcome Aboard"

You are docked at the Port of New York Branch - World Ship Society website.
The PONY Branch provides its members & guests with monthly illustrated programs in midtown Manhattan, activities such as ship visits, harbor trips, ocean-going cruises at group rates and the semi-annual ocean liner bazaar. Our website aims to be the premier resource regarding Port of New York passenger shipping, current port news, events that celebrate its history, what to see along the waterfront and how to explore our great harbor. Perhaps the most popular feature of all is the complete schedule of cruise ship arrival and departure dates/times, destinations and berthing locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Bayonne, NJ.

Tugboat Dorothy Buchanan approaches one of four waterfall installations in New York Harbor, this one under the Brooklyn Bridge. Three others are located at Pier 39 East River just north of the Manhattan Bridge; below Brooklyn Heights; and adjacent to Governors Island facing Manhattan. All four may be seen from New York Water Taxis, New York Waterway ferries and Seastreak ferries arriving and leaving Pier 11 Wall Street. Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport is a good location for viewing three of the four waterfalls.
